“BEFORE YOU CAN GROW UP, YOU MUST FALL IN LOVE 3 TIMES. ONCE, YOU MUST FALL IN LOVE WITH YOUR BEST FRIEND, RUINING YOUR FRIENDSHIP FOREVER. THIS WILL TEACH YOU WHO YOUR TRUE FRIENDS ARE, AND THE FINE LINE BETWEEN FRIENDSHIP AND MORE. ONCE YOU MUST FALL IN LOVE WITH SOMEONE YOU BELIEVE IS PERFECT. YOU WILL LEARN THAT NO ONE IS PERFECT, AND THAT YOU SHOULD NEVER BE TREATED AS ANYTHING LESS THAN YOU DESERVE. AND ONCE, YOU MUST FALL IN LOVE WITH SOMEONE THAT IS EXACTLY LIKE YOU. THIS WILL TEACH YOU ABOUT WHO YOU ARE, AND WHO YOU WANT TO BE. AND WHEN YOU’RE THROUGH WILL ALL THAT, YOU LEARN THAT THE PEOPLE WHO CARE ABOUT YOU THE MOST ARE THE ONES THAT YOU HURT, AND THE ONES THAT HURT YOU ARE THE ONES THAT NEEDED YOU THE MOST. BUT MOST OF ALL, YOU LEARN THAT LOVE IS ONLY A CONCEPT AND IS NOT SOMETHING THAT CAN BE DEFINED, IT IS DIFFERENT TO EACH AND EVERY PERSON ON THIS EARTH, KNOWING THAT EVERYONE ONLY WANTS TO BE LOVED.”

Artists we Love

Two artists that I think we are going to be hearing a lot more from are Elle Varner and Melanie Fiona. Varner’s song Refill and Fiona’s song 4AM can be heard all over the radio right now. Varner is an american artist who was raised in LA and her parents are both a part of the music industry so it was only right for her to join them. Along with Refill, she has a song with J. Cole, Only Wanna Give it to You. I think the reason I like Refill so much is there is not anything like it. It’s not exactly a love song or a party song. It reminds you of a time when you were ridiculously drunk and should probably make your way home. A good song is a song that the audience can relate to. Varner has a very unique voice and I have a feeling we will be hearing a lot more from her.

Fiona is a canadian artist but unlike Varner, Fiona did not have an automatic in to the industry. She first debuted a single, Give it to me Right, back in 2009 but 4AM might just be the song to grow her career. She has done pretty well in Canada and the UK and it is time for the US to show her some love. 4AM reminds me of The Weeknd and I love The Weeknd! Can’t wait to see what these two artists come up with next.
